It proves to be a cost-effective solution for repairing thermally stressed components in engines, machines, and furnaces.

  • Packaging: Available in 0.45, 0.95, and 3.80-liter cans.
  • Drying Time: Air drying and curing take 5 to 7 hours, while heat curing (95°C) is completed in 2 to 4 hours.
  • Post-Processing: Once cured, the treated area can be mechanically and visually finished – sanded, smoothed, textured, and painted.

Application and Storage

Due to its straightforward handling, Pyro-Putty 2400 is suitable for both industrial repairs and various manual applications. It is especially popular for retrofitting vintage cars, where it is often used to repair old engine and transmission housings. Kager recommends a storage temperature of 13°C to 32°C, allowing for the storage of larger quantities without any issues.
