KAGER COLDER – Ultra-Cold Air Generator down to -55 °C

Energy-efficient process cooling without electricity, refrigerants or moving parts

High temperatures generated during industrial manufacturing processes often reduce tool life, affect machining quality and damage temperature-sensitive components.

The KAGER COLDER Ultra-Cold Air Generator provides an efficient and reliable solution by converting standard compressed air into ultra-cold air down to -55 °C, without electricity, refrigerants or moving mechanical parts.

The system is based on the proven Joule-Thomson effect, where compressed air cools dramatically during controlled expansion.

The result is an instantly available, maintenance-free and highly efficient spot cooling solution for demanding industrial applications.

How it works

The KAGER COLDER requires only a compressed air supply.

At approximately 7 bar compressed air pressure and an inlet temperature of around 20 °C, the 190-75 SV model generates cold air down to -55 °C.

No electrical power, refrigerants or additional gases are required, making it an environmentally friendly and highly reliable cooling system.

Key Benefits

  • Ultra-cold air down to -55 °C
  • Operates using compressed air only
  • No electrical power required
  • No refrigerants
  • No moving parts
  • Virtually maintenance-free
  • Immediate cooling effect
  • Precise spot cooling
  • Clean, dry and oil-free cold air
  • Easy integration into existing production systems

MEDICARD by KAGER – Reliable Cold Chain Monitoring for Pharmaceutical Shipping

Reliable temperature monitoring for medicines, vaccines and temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals

Maintaining an uninterrupted cold chain is essential when transporting medicines, vaccines and temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical products. Even minor temperature excursions may reduce product efficacy, compromise patient safety and lead to significant financial losses.

KAGER’s new MEDICARD provides a simple, cost-effective and reliable solution for monitoring transport temperatures throughout the entire shipping process. The indicator card permanently documents whether critical temperature limits have been exceeded or fallen below, helping pharmacies, pharmaceutical logistics providers, hospitals, laboratories and healthcare authorities maintain product quality and compliance.

Three irreversible temperature indicators on one compact card

The MEDICARD combines three proven temperature indicators.

Two WarmMark® indicators monitor exposure above +8 °C and +25 °C, providing a clear indication of heat exposure.

A FreezeSafe™ indicator permanently records whether temperatures have fallen below +2 °C, identifying potential freeze damage to temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals.

All indicators provide irreversible colour changes, creating permanent evidence of cold chain integrity throughout transportation.

Ideal for pharmaceutical logistics

The MEDICARD is suitable for:

  • Pharmacies
  • Mail-order pharmacies
  • Pharmaceutical logistics
  • Pharmaceutical manufacturers
  • Hospitals
  • Clinical laboratories
  • Vaccine distribution
  • Healthcare authorities
  • Medical distributors
  • Cold chain logistics

With dimensions of only 120 × 120 mm, the card fits easily into virtually any shipping package. A dedicated contact field allows the sender to stamp or write company information, increasing shipment traceability and customer confidence.

Supporting pharmaceutical quality assurance

The MEDICARD helps companies:

  • verify cold chain compliance,
  • detect temperature excursions,
  • improve pharmaceutical quality assurance,
  • support documentation requirements,
  • reduce claims and product losses,
  • strengthen customer confidence,
  • improve pharmaceutical supply chain transparency.

As part of the continuously expanding KAGER Medical-Line, the MEDICARD provides an efficient solution for pharmaceutical temperature monitoring and cold chain documentation.
