The ESD-compatible Anti Slip Foil, also known as Anti Slip Mat, from Kager’s product portfolio is now part of the basic equipment in many workshops, laboratories and assembly lines. It has proven itself as a fixing aid for devices, components, devices and tools. Recently, however, it has also been used as a non-slip intermediate layer to secure the load of general cargo in transport and packaging technology.
The Anti Slip Foil from the trading and consulting company Kager has been scoring points for some time as an anti-slip, noise-dampening and statically conductive work surface in industrial and craft workshops. It consists of a thin soft PVC (polyvinyl chloride-P) and is used, for example, in assembly and testing technology or in precision engineering and laboratory technology as an ESD-compatible base. Depending on the application, it also proves to be a good addition to or replacement for cumbersome fixing and clamping frames. Thanks to the high coefficient of friction of the soft PVC, the RSF from Kager prevents vibrating table devices from moving away or cylindrical workpieces from rolling away. In this way, it contributes to both quality assurance and the ergonomic design of many workplaces.
Intermediate layer for securing loads
Transport logistics has now emerged as a further area of application for the Kager Anti Slip Foil. With its permanently adhesive surface, many logistics specialists also find it an easy-to-use and very reliable intermediate layer for securing cargo. Kager’s Anti Slip Foil can provide valuable services in terms of product protection, especially when stacking parcels and parcels with high-quality contents or when transporting goods without outer packaging.
Kager supplies its Anti Slip Foil in the colors red, blue and green and as a 400 millimeter wide roll with lengths of up to ten meters. The mat is always 1.0 millimeters thick and lies flat on any flat surface when rolled out. To clean it, you can simply rinse it with water. It is also chemically resistant and can be disinfected. It is also dishwasher safe. When not in use, it can be rolled up to save space and since the Anti Slip Foil can be reused over a long period of time, it is also a sustainable resource.
Delivery of 2D molded parts In addition to the areas of application mentioned, Kager uses the Anti Slip Foil to produce precisely fitting 2D cuts made of colored polyvinyl chloride-P. Based on customer drawings submitted, the company delivers these molded parts at short notice from batch size 1 and up to a width of 1,500 mm. They are manufactured on modern CNC systems, with curved cuts, drilling and external contours being carried out with high precision exactly according to the customer’s specifications. In this way, for example, flexible flat parts can be produced for the individual design of industrial assembly surfaces and workbenches, precisely fitting and noise-damping pads for laboratory work, product-specific intermediate layers or sealing elements and much more.
